The quiet rural village of Weston, several times winner of ‘Best Kept Village in Staffordshire’ is a charming and quaint place, about half a dozen miles from Stone and Stafford. The Saracens Head, one of two local pubs in the village, is a home from home, traditional pub serving high quality, home cooked food.

This fine English restaurant in Stafford is a family run business, which is why you can be sure of excellent service, locally sourced produce and a passionate Chef creating all your favourite dishes to a high standard every day. Happily it’s not just the food that is local at this great value eatery, the real ale too is local where possible and there is also an excellent selection of fine wines to suit all tastes. The well stocked bar offers something for everyone, including the children and those in the driving seat.

Booking a table at the Saracens Head in Weston is always advisable, particularly on a Sunday. The Sunday Roast is a house specialty with a choice of Aberdeen Angus Beef or Turkey which comes with all the trimmings, a good lashing of gravy and the Chef’s homemade Yorkshire puddings.

This superb family pub has an excellent beer garden and benches, and with the nearby Trent and Mersey Canal, summer evenings at the Saracens Head are a real treat for the whole family. The main building is set back off the A518 Stafford Road allowing for a good sized car park at the front of the pub and easy access for all visitors.
