The Stone Steakhouse is a contemporary take on the classic Steakhouse. Based in the newly refurbished Crown & Anchor, offering a hearty menu of Steak Ribs & Seafood, this excellent eatery strives to offer the true Steakhouse experience

Using only the best locally sourced produce ensures that all of the meals served are as fresh as they can be and made from the highest quality ingredients.

Serving a wide range of real ales and selection of fine wines by the bottle and the glass the bar area is a great place to unwind and relax after a busy day out at one of the towns monthly markets. Take coffee in the contemporary, unfussy lounge seating area with friends whilst perusing the excellent selection of exotic meats and specials available in the restaurant.

The majority of our beef is farmed in Staffordshire other than our Ribeye which comes from Ireland all our beef is 28 day dry aged and farm assured. Our Buffalo and Ostrich are farmed in Derbyshire.

Chef is so confident in the quality of his meat that the kitchen regularly offers visitors to the towns monthly farmers market the opportunity to taste the food, particularly the exotic meats including Buffalo and Ostrich. Always a hit with the locals!
